Ordering Information

Costume care is very different than care for your everyday street clothes. Costumes should not be cleaned after every performance. We do realize that perspiration can be a problem. You might try changing brands of deodorant and make sure it is clear. Always air dry costumes after performances. Do not place your costumes in an airtight bag. It will only set the odor in the garment.

The lycra and hologram spandex fabrics cannot be dry cleaned. All of these fabrics should be spot cleaned or hand washed in cold water with a very mild detergent. They should never be machine washed to maintain their vibrant colors. Always test a small spot to be sure it does not alter the garment in any way.

Our sequined and beaded costumes should be spot cleaned whenever possible. If more cleaning is needed, hand wash with a mild detergent as gently as possible. Never soak the garment. Lay the costume flat to dry. Dry cleaning is not recommended unless you have a reputable cleaners that has experience in sequins and beading. Garments can easily be ruined with the use of improper cleaning fluids or too much heat.

PLEASE TRY TO SPOT CLEAN YOUR GARMENT FIRST. AIR THE COSTUMES IMMEDIATELY FOLLOWING PERFORMANCES. ONLY HAND WASH WHEN ABSOLUTELY NECESSARY. MANY COSTUME FABRICS AND TRIMS ARE FRAGILE AND MUST BE TREATED AS SUCH. WE CANNOT BE RESPONSIBLE FOR GARMENTS THAT HAVE NOT BEEN TREATED WITH CARE.
